    Intex Construction Limited is founded. First Contract awarded and Completed
    10Km Mathare Valley trunk sewer.

    Successfully completed all supporting infrastructure works for Kasarani stadium for the iconic all Africa games.
    Complex hosted 100,000 people.

    1988 - Public Housing Scheme

    Intex Successfully completes Kenya's first and largest affordable housing scheme in the country. 2,000 units handed over

  • 1991

    1991 - EPZ Sewerage Works Athi River

    Intex construction Ltd wins their first World Bank
    funded job EPZ Sewerage works in Athi River

  • 1996

    1996 - Real Estate Market Entry

    Enters the Real Estate market, development
    - Prestige Valley – 17 townhouses
    - Vihinga Apartments – 16 luxury apartments - Brightwood apartments – 40 executive units

  • 1998

    1998 - Roads sector entry

    Intex makes a bullish entry into the roads sector.
    Successfully gravelling over 400 km of road over
    the following years in various parts of the country.
    - Sururu – Likia – Pombo (Olenguruone) Road Nakuru (68km)
    - Tans Nzoia District (80km)
    - Rift Valley Province (174km) - Maili Tatu – Ndalu road
    - Kitale airstrip
    - Kaptama road
    - Koikoi junction – Gituamba road
    - Endebes – Suam road. (104km)

    1999 - Intex Supports Sports in Kenya

    Successfully hosted the ICC Champions trophy in Gymkhana.
    First world wide International Sports competition in Kenya.
    Highest number of eye balls on TV for an event in Kenya.
    Gymkhana Stadium – Built Media Box, and all the VIP seating

    2003 - Intex Supports Sports in Kenya

    Successfully completion and sale of 4th & 5th real estate
    development
    - Bamboo Gardens – 48 units
    - Touchwood apartments – 32 luxury units

  • 2010

    2010 - Acquisition of G.Issais

    Intex Construction fully acquires G.Issais,
    Kenya’s oldest civil engineering company
    with over 60 years engineering experience.

    2012

    Milestone in the industry: 400+ (438Km) of
    Bitumen Standard Road successfully
    completed and handed over.

  • 2016

    2016 - Annuity Project

    Intex construction signs the first ever PPP roads project
    in the country using the annuity project model
    which is a first on the continent.
