We have designed and built an integrated business in order to deliver our mission and vision. We strive to ensure that we operate efficiently, maintain a competitive cost base and can continually enhance the reliability, flexibility and value of our work. In order to achieve this, we have put considerable investment into our plant and equipment, leveraging technology and adapting to new methods where appropriate.
We have two established stone quarries which produces 800 to 1,200 tonnes of crushed aggregate per day,at Ena – Ishiara Road and Lewa-Isiolo Road together with 2 No. Asphalt plants producing 500 to 600 tonnes of Asphalt Mix per day and a Wet Mix Plant to produce 400 tonnes / day of graded crushed stone (GCS).
Joinery and pre-fabricating works are conducted at the Intex Building Centre off Mombasa Rd, Nairobi, which also houses plant maintenance workshops.
Intex uses wireless technology to ensure constant communication, even in remote locations, and, where appropriate, uses its executive jet to fly management around the region.
Intex prides itself on owning a broad range of well-maintained equipment. We continually strive to improve the efficiency of our plant and equipment, enabling us to optimise the use of resources and avoid waste, in line with our commitment to sustainability.
